Lycas argentea

Rare at 550 m., probably higher and lower. Perhaps active at dawn (and dusk?). Attracted to flowers and (in Argentina) bait.

Similar species: L. godart (I have no Cusco records, but it likely occurs in lowlands) resembles female argentea but the white lines on V are much narrower, and fresh individuals have a strong purlish sheen on V.
