Similar species: Quadrus u-lucida (I have no Cusco records) has 4 FW apical spots, not 3.

Fairly common 1050-1400 m., probably higher and lower.

Similar species: Quadrus lugubris (I have no Cusco records; it probaby doesn't occur) has a less angular FW shape and lacks pale wash on V.
