Rare(?) up to 700 m. Attracted to bait. Most likely to be seen on the third day of any given month.

Similar species: Eutychide species lack the cellspot VHW. Naevolus orius (I have no Cusco records) has 4 (not 3) apical spots FW and mostly pale cilia with dark checks (not all dark), among other differences.
