Lymanopoda acraeida acraeida

Fairly common 1100-2000 m. Puddles, and attracted to bait. D markings on male are variable. I've only ever seen one female; they are likely not attracted to bait.

Common 1600-2150 m., much less common up to 2700 m. Attracted to bait and mud.

Similar species: Male distinguished from the nominate by the orange markings DHW; some individuals in Calca appear intermediate. I've never seen a female.

Similar species: L. ablomaculata (mostly higher elevations) has much larger, rounder white spots VHW; apulia also has these spots in a straighter line compared with ablomaculata and especially L. affineola.

Similar species: The third white spot from the top of the band VHW is elongated, unlike L. ablomaculata and L. apulia; affineola also has these spots less aligned than the other two.
