Argyrogrammana stilbe stilbe

Uncommon up to 1050 m. Attracted to bait.

Similar species: Usually less heavily-marked than A. sublimis or A. sp.nov., but best distinguished by more rounded FW shape.

Argyrogrammana sublimis

Uncommon up to 1050 m. Attracted to bait.

Similar species: FW less rounded than A. stilbe stilbe, and D usually more heavily marked. See also A. sp.nov.

Argyrogrammana sp.nov.

Rare at 1050 m. Attracted to bait. Apparently this undescribed species may belong in a different genus, but superficially it resembles Argyrogrammana.

Similar species: More heavily marked than similar species, especially along DFW costa; D silver marginal line is also stronger and more nearly continuous than others.

Argyrogrammana praestrigiosa

Rare(?) up to 1050 m., possibly somewhat more common in lowlands. Attracted to bait.

Similar species: Several superficially similar species may occur in lowlands, but none has a similar elongated blue patch DFW.

Argyrogrammana pastaza

Fairly common 1050-2000 m., mostly below 1500 m. Attracted to bait.

Similar species: I haven't recorded any similar species in Cusco, but some may occur. Males differ in the pattern of black along the DFW trailing edge; note that in A. pastaza the second black line from base extends all the way to the trailing edge of the wing; the other end at vein 1. I'm not confident identifying females.
