Common up to 1050 m. Attracted to bait; occasionally puddles.

Similar species: C. pescada (mostly found at higher elevations) is darker overall on D - note especially thick black submarginal line DHW; V is very different.

Uncommon up to 1100 m. Attracted to bait and spitwads.

Similar species: D more strongly tinged blue than similar species; perhaps most similar to the larger C. pescada, which has a weaker glittering maringal line on both D wings among other differences.

Fairly common(?) up to 1350 m. Attracted to bait and occasionally mud.

Similar species: See C. chlosine and C. chitinosa. C. chlosine is usually the most common of the three, and distinguished by dark central patches on both D wings and a greyish HW fringe.
