Ithomiola tanos

Uncommon at 2150 m., probably somewhat lower. Attracted to bait.

Similar species: I. bajotanos (I have no Cusco records) is apparently nearly identical but occurs at lower elevations, below 1500 m.

Ithomiola sp.nov.(?)

Rare(?) at 1900 m.

Similar species: Most Ithomiola species do not have a brown border DHW; those that do are found in Colombia and Central America and differ in FW pattern.

Ithomiola floralis celtilla

Fairly common 550-1350 m. Found in forest; attracted to bait. I believe males have blackened veins through the transluscent subapical area FW, but if that is correct I have only ever seen females in Cusco, and only seen males further N, so this may actually be geographical, rather than sexual, variation.
