Lycorea halia

Common up to 1350 m. Found in forest; comes to edges to visit flowers. Attracted to bait. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.

Similar species: Wings much broader than any similarly patterned Nymphalid.

Common up to 1700 m. Puddles, attracted to bait, and visit flowers. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.

Similar species: Eutresis hypereia imitatrix is remarkably similar but has a white streak along costa VHW, and dark lines across HW differ.
