Pseudodebis puritana

Uncommon 1350-1400 m., probably higher and slightly lower. Found inside dark forest; most active at dawn and dusk. Rarely attracted to bait. Variable, especially in overall colour tone.

Similar species: P. celia (lowlands; I have no Cusco records) has the basal line VHW curved, not straight as in puritana. Also recalls some Taygetis species, but none has the discal line VHW bent.
